About CLOiD

The LG CLOiD is a home humanoid robot unveiled at CES 2026 as the centerpiece of LG's "Zero Labor Home" strategy. Mounted on a wheeled base with autonomous navigation, CLOiD features a torso adjustable from 105 to 143 cm, dual 7-DOF arms with 87 cm reach, and ten independently actuated fingers. Its AI stack combines a Vision Language Model with a Vision Language Action model, both trained on over 10,000 hours of household activity data. LG's proprietary AXIUM actuators use regenerative braking to convert excess motion energy back into battery charge. At CES 2026, CLOiD demonstrated retrieving milk from a refrigerator, placing a croissant in an oven, and folding laundry. CLOiD integrates with the ThinQ smart home ecosystem. LG plans real-world testing in 2027, with no commercial pricing announced. It won a CES 2026 Innovation Award.
